Prawn Farmers Devastated by Cyclone Larry

The $65 million dollar prawn farming industry has been devastated by Cyclone Larry, in Far North Queensland, Australia. Australian Prawn Farmers Association Executive Officer Mr Scott Walter said today that at least 6 farms and 4 hatcheries had been heavily hit. Together these farms produce around 40% of the total farmed prawn production in Australia.
