Pay attention to social dimensions of marine protected areas, ICSF tells delegates to FAO fisheries meeting

Particular attention should be paid to the social dimensions of marine protected areas (MPAs) in the technical guidelines that are being developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and its Member States on the design, implementation and testing of MPAs , the International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) said.
