IMO: International Maritime Prize goes to two recipients

For the first time, and exceptionally, the prestigious International Maritime Prize is to be awarded to two recipients for a single year. At its 98th session (25-29 June 2007) the IMO Council decided to award the prize for 2006 to Mr. Alfred Popp of Canada and, posthumously, to Mr. Igor Ponomarev of the Russian Federation.
