A Digital Skin for the Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef, Australia, will soon be the most monitored reef in the world with a digital skin of sensors giving the finest resolution picture ever of the region's dynamic systems. The Great Barrier Reef Ocean Observing System (GBROOS) will monitor water temperature, solar radiation, salinity, pollution and even fish behaviour in real time.
