Disaster declared after deadly Samoan cyclone

The Samoan government has declared a state of disaster after Cyclone Evan ravaged the South Pacific nation, destroying buildings and causing flash floods. Police in Samoa say a number of children are presumed to have drowned after being swept away in a flooded river after the cyclone hit.
