Fossil of biggest known seabird found

Fossilised bird bones uncovered in the United States of America represent the largest flying bird in history, with a wingspan of 6.4 metres, say researchers. Their findings, published this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, show the bird's wings were twice as long as the biggest modern-day seabird, the royal albatross.
