Pacific Oceanological Institute

Russian and English website. The Pacific Oceanological Institute (POI) of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Science was established in 1973. V.I. Il'ichev Pacific Oceanological Institute is situated in a picturesque suburb of Vladivostok near Chaika railway station not far from the Amur Bay coast of the Sea of Japan.
