Benthic Amphipoda (Crustacea: Peracarida) of the Great Barrier Reef

Documents - Book
30 Sep 2009 -
Following workshops on Lizard Island, GBR in 2005 and Florida, USA in 2006, this volume was compiled to provide an overview from expert taxonomists. As a result of this study, the amphipod fauna of the Great Barrier Reef is now the richest known from any tropical area, with 256 species only on the GBR. Further studies are needed in the broader Australian tropics. An interactive key is available as a CD with the book or on the crustacea.net website.
