TitleICSF - International Collective in Support of Fishworkers  ( WEBSITE )
DescriptionThe International Collective in Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) is an international NGO (non-governmental organization) that operates in the realm of fisheries and fishworkers, particularly of the smallscale, artisanal sector. The ICSF has its origins in the historic International Conference of Fishworkers and their Supporters, held in Rome in 1984. That conference, since then known as the Rome Conference, was a significant response to the "official" World Conference on Fisheries Management and Development, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
