| | Lyttelton is a port town on the north shore of Lyttelton Harbour next to Banks Peninsula, 12 km by road from Christchurch on the eastern coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It has been devastated by the 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck New Zealand's second largest city on 23 February 2011. At least 103 people have died. | |
