Ernst and the late Roger W. Barbour. This DVD-ROM, prepared in collaboration with ETI editor Ruud G.M. Altenburg, covers all currently recognized taxa (as of December 1997) and adds an interactive, searchable distribution module, a glossary with 1000 scientific terms, and color pictures for virtually every (sub)species. A large number of turtles researchers from all over the world has worked with ETI to ensure that the texts and distributions are as accurate as possible.
