Call for Action on Biodiversity in Oceania by Salleh, A., Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Science 29 July 2009

The high rate of extinction in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands is set to get worse unless urgent action is taken to protect biodiversity in the area, warn scientists online in the journal Conservation Biology. Free online access to this journal is available within institutions in the developing world through the AGORA Initiative with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
