IMO: IMO Council completes 100th session

The IMO Council completed its landmark 100th session on Friday, 20 June, following a week which also saw a series of celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the IMO Convention; the 50th anniversary of the entry into force of that Convention; the return of the IMO Secretariat to its refurbished Albert Embankment Headquarters; and the 25th and 20th anniversaries, respectively, of the World Maritime University (WMU) and the IMO International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI).
