IMO: Supply-chain security on the agenda as Mitropoulos meets top US official

IMO Secretary-General Efthimios E. Mitropoulos today met Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security, to discuss issues surrounding security in the global supply chain. Mr. Mitropoulos and Ms. Napolitano discussed partnership arrangements involving IMO, the World Customs Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization to improve security in the transport system.
