Dear Atlas Member
Over the last 10 years the UN Atlas community has been sharing news and information on the world's oceans. Nearly 50 editors worldwide contribute to a growing body of knowledge providing reliable, timely and important information on oceans-related topics. Over 11,000 members receive this monthly newsletter which highlights key events and current news. From food security and climate change to biodiversity, maritime safety and resource management, the Atlas features a wide range of issues and topics as well as following significant meetings such as Rio+20.
The Atlas, a partnership of UN agencies and other collaborators, is developed under the authority of UN Oceans, the interagency coordination mechanism on oceans and coastal issues within the UN system.
We would like to thank the UN Atlas community for its constant support over this past decade and for helping to provide information for the sustainable development of the world's oceans. We count on you to continue enriching the UN Oceans with your valuable contributions.
