This month we continue looking at changes in the ocean and their impacts, bringing you news and information on efforts to curb these effects such as the sustainable fisheries policy of the European Union, UNESCO's Biosphere Reserves and international conferences to advance and share scientific knowledge.
In this newsletter, we also include coverage on the issue of children working in agriculture and the fishing industry. In fisheries and aquaculture, children engage in all types of activities, from catching fish to repairing nets or processing fish, sometimes affecting their health and learning abilities, and often preventing them from attending school.
