This month we bring your attention to the forthcoming Global Oceans Action Summit for Food Security and Blue Growth which brings together global leaders, ocean practitioners, scientists, and representatives from government, business, civil society and international organizations to explore action-oriented partnerships, governance arrangements, investment frameworks and new financing vehicles to turn the tide on the health of oceans. Co-organized by the Government of the Netherlands, FAO, the World Bank and the governments of Grenada, Indonesia, Mauritius, Norway, the United States of America, this unique gathering will take place in The Hague, The Netherlands from 22 to 25 April, 2014.
