IMO: Women to the fore at World Maritime University

In a colourful ceremony held during its International Day celebrations (Aug 9th), the International Maritime Organisation (IMO)'s Malmö-based World Maritime University has established a Women's Association (WMUWA). The purpose of the Association is to "connect, educate, and inspire women in the maritime industry and to promote female maritime professionals." Membership is open to all current students at WMU as well as WMU alumni.?
