Franklin discovery in the Canadian Arctic

Since Franklin set sail in 1845, expeditions sent to the Canadian Arctic in search of the lost Franklin Expedition have increased our knowledge of the North. But Franklin's ships remained elusive. It was only this year, during the sixth Canadian-led search since 2008, that the first ship was discovered.
