Scientists from the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) are using barramundi to help examine and diagnose the health of Darwin Harbour, in tropical Australia. There are also concerns that estrogenic compounds - from drugs like birth control pills - in sewerage may be having an impact on barramundi reproductive cycles.
