The La Jolla Laboratory is a leading marine research facility specializing in fisheries and protected species of the California Current, eastern tropical Pacific and Antarctic regions. The Santa Cruz Laboratory conducts research on salmon and groundfish while the Pacific Fisheries Environmental Laboratory adds value to the huge volumes of oceanographic data collected by the US Navy.
