The wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship was successfully righted after an unprecedented 19-hour operation off the Italian island of Giglio, where the cruise liner has been lying on its side since it capsized January 2012, killing 32 passengers. (Video via AP.) The hulk will be demolished and scrapped in the port of Genoa, the Italian government decided on 30 June 2014 (Reuters).
