The Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA) promotes the educational, scientific and technological development of all aspects of marine sciences throughout the Western Indian Ocean region with a view toward sustaining the use and conservation of its marine resources. The Sixth WIOMSA Scientific Symposium will be held at the L'Université de la Réunion in Saint Denis, Réunion Island from 24 - 29 August 2009. Abstracts available on the website. English and French.
