Description: "The Big Toxics Hunt" is FoE Norway's successful campaign, the 5 last years hunting down the sources of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) along our long coastline and in our many fjords. We have by investigative field work identified major PCB sources still actively polluting the marine environment; shipyards, metal recyclers and paint factories. A clean-up program is now initiated by the Norwegian Government, and we are ready to continue the work in other seas. I am looking for project partners and funding for a "Toxic hunt", tracking down the main PCB-sources of Asian Pacific, the Mediterranean Sea and the Baltic Sea. A dynamic, international project team is ready to go.
