Description: I have completed bachelor and masters degrees in fisheries science. There after, completed my doctorate in aquatic science. I have carried out research on aquatic ecology and coastal ecosystem, ecological monitoring and aquatic toxicology. I have also completed Bachelor of Journalism course. I was selected for the prestigious Netherlands International Fellowship for a course on �Alternative Approach to Fisheries Management� at International Agriculture Centre, Wageningen, Netherlands during October 27, 2002 to November 22, 2002. Thereafter, I have undergone a privileged International Training on �Ocean Governance: Policy, Law and Management� which was offered by the International Ocean Institute, Dalhousie University, Canada during 24th May � 21st July, 2006. I have more that 15 years of experience Coastal Zone Management, Environmental Management and Fisheries Development. I have coordinated M. Tech. Programme in Geoinformatics for two batches and delivered lectures in coastal zone management.
